2 things.

You change your piece "when it gets to a corner". Is that any corner? Can I move my Queen away from my home corner, then move it back again, and exchange it for my drone?

secondly, when I exchange, am I exchanging in place, or is the new piece back at home corner?

So, if I get my Queen to some other corner, does my new piece appear in the same place? Can I move my queen to the opposite (ie, goal) corner, exchange for drone, then move the drone away, and then back to the corner, and exchange for pawn, thus winning?

Answers: The goal of the game is for each player to go back and forth between their own two corners. This means that it is the opposite corner of the corner a player started at, diagonally across the board. So if a player starts at the lower left corner with the large pyramid he has to get it to the upper right corner, where it will be switched in place with a medium pyramid. The medium pyramid then has to go from the upper right corner down to the lower left, where it will be switched to a small pyramid. This small pyramid then has to go to the upper right corner, and if the player is the first to complete all three "walks" across the board, once with each pyramid, that player will win the game.

So the answers are:

* No, it has to be the opposite corner of the starting point of that pyramid.
* Yes, the pyramids are exchanged in place.
* No, the point of the game is to go back and forth between two opposing corners three times, each time with a different pyramid.

I will take these questions into consideration and try to rewrite the rules to be a bit clearer on these points. Thanks for the input!
