What size index card is "usual"? 3x5 seems a little tight, but things seem to swim on 4x6. -JEEP 10:08, 18 May 2005 (GMT)

Well, I'd call 3"x5" a usual index card, but the article is inaccurate that stash pads are usually the size of an index card. In the Signatorium, I use 3.5"x6" as my standard, which is based on the plastic stash pads that were included in the "Unbreakable" sets. When I make stash pads for the IIT, I use 4.25" or 3.5 by 5.5" or for easy printing 4-up on US Letter-size cardstock. I do know people who use 4x6 cards, or even 4.25"x6" US postcards as stash pads. The "original" stash pads were often computer punch cards, which are standardized at 3.5"x7.375". I'm not sure what would be the best example for the article. Usually, I try to avoid beginning this kind of pedantic discussion of minutiae, but since Jeep was kind enough to open the door... =^> --Eeyore 14:33, 18 May 2005 (GMT)

Thanks! Always happy to open the door for minutiae -JEEP 16:58, 18 May 2005 (GMT)
At home, we installed a a special flap in the back door so the minutiae can let themselves in and out without us having to open the door. --Eeyore 20:30, 18 May 2005 (GMT)
