Talk:Browse games/Playable with Homeworlds

As I said on Facebook, this is too complicated a search to do in one query. It's cutting off at a point where the search you're actually doing is just '[[Number of colors::<2]]'.

Also, the first half of the request is generating nothing, as these two lines:

[[theme::Abstract]]
[[Status:Complete]]

should be:

[[Primary_Theme::Abstract]]
[[Status::Complete]]

  • It's just that I wanted to experiment and understand more what the problem was. I saw that the resultpage is automatically added to the Browse Games page. I've incorporated your suggestion. On the second page, the games with 3 and 4 colors and less than 4 trios are mentioned. Although I can't get the games with 10 colors to be excluded. Does that have anything to do with the fact that there is a warning, even though the results of the query are shown?
  • If ultimately it's not working for some reason, I could always remove it again. I doesn't seem to hurt, and I added the message "This page is under construction".
  • Another question is how to know which queries are possible? The field names seem to be different than the ones used in the Infobox_Game block.
  • I've tried something with the #compound_query parser, but it didn't give better results. I could have overlooked something, as I am learning to use this properly. See https://www.semantic-mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Combining_results_of_multiple_queries.
  • Thanks for any help.
