Talk:Stacktics

I've played Stacktics a bit, and I like it. I think you succeeded in your ambition to come up with a solid 3HOUSE game. With that in mind, I have a suggestion for how to make the rules more digestible. The rules are in essence quite simple, but one of the things that makes them difficult to read is the meta-level throughout where you discuss how to adjust for different game "sizes." I would suggest redrafting these rules so that the first part is just a hard-coded description of a size-3 game, with no reference to variable size. THEN, append variants sections in which you describe "a smaller game" (the size-2 game, suitable for play by those who only have IceDice!) and "larger games" (the meta-rules that permit generalization to sizes 5 and 6). --Carthoris 12:55, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
