Ice Draughts is a two to four player Draughts variant using Icehouse pieces on an Chessboard. The game requires 3 same colour nests of pyramids per player.

Setup[edit | edit source]

2 Player Game: Half of the Chessboard 3 Player Game: 3 Chess Wedges are used 4 Player Game: Full Chessboard

Place a single Queen in the left corner nearest to you. Place 1 Drone above the Queen in the next space and one drone to the right of the Queen. Place 3 Pawns diagonaly infront of the Drones.

Rules[edit | edit source]

Goal: Be the last standing player or score the most points.

Players take turns moving the Icehouse pieces on the board in the following manner:

Each piece may move Diagonaly, Horazontaly or Verticaly

A Pawn can move 1 space per turn on one direction. A Drone can move upto 2 spaces per turn on one direction. A Queen can move upto 3 spaces per turn on one direction.

Capturing Moves[edit | edit source]

Capturing moves have the following conditions: Capturing moves can only be done diagonaly Capturing of a piece must capture a openents piece from first move of a players turn. Player ends turn after the last capture has taken place. Multiple consecitive captures with Pawns and Drones are permited.
