Are you new to Looney Pyramids and looking for some guidance?
Perhaps you are looking to read the opinions of others on few of the myriad games in the community database. The following links are to reviews in websites, blogs, and public forums where multiple games are accessed and commented on. For reviews for a specific games, I recommend also looking the game up at the BoardGameGeek site.
Annotated SCLs and Review Blogs
- The 120 Games blog reviews a few games from the Playing With Pyramids book.
- Jason McIntosh’s blog of favorite games and biggest disapointments includes several Looney Pyramid games (some of which he reviews and details his gaming experience with).
- His new blog includes reviews of other Pyramid games, including his reviews of games that were entered into an ICE Awards contest.
- A gaming review site published a nice entry on various pyramid games in an article entitled Ideal Game Library: Icehouse.
Geeklists, Redit and Community Forums
- There is a Reddit forum dedicated to opinions on Looney Pyramid games.
- Geeklists from BoardGameGeek are popular places to review games: 1 2 3.
