Ballistic Wars is a game in which you are at war with other enemy countries. Using missiles, you must destroy the enemy's walls and get their bases to fall. The game uses no board, and is purely about skill and some strategy.

Needed to play

A stash for each player (if you only have one see the Mini Wars section)
Anything that denominates a line (I prefer a tooth pick or a coin for more than 2 players)

Setup

During setup, create a tree (a small pyramid on a medium on a large). This is your base and you must protect it.
Place the rest of your pieces upright, surrounding your base.
These are "walls" that surround and protect your base. Obviously, size matters here as you'll see in the play section.
Keep one small piece (your "Missile") aside, it will be used later.
Place a toothpick or other object to denominate a line right between the bases. Make sure that this line is equal.

Play

Each player takes turns, with the person with the darkest shirt going first.
On your turn, position your small piece so that it points at a wall that you want to attack. However, you must place it behind the line created using the toothpick or other object.
Using your pointer finger, flick the piece in the direction you want it to go.
Any walls that fall down on their side are destroyed and put into a pile away from the field of play (the "Rubble Pile")
As a side note, if it is impossible to grab a piece without crashing, then it's still a wall and isn't removed.

Upgrading your Missile

Once a number of walls are destroyed, you may upgrade your missile into a larger one.
Once you destroy 10 walls, you can upgrade your missile into a medium missile.
Once you destroy 10 walls, you can upgrade your missile into a large missile.
In order to upgrade, you must have a wall the size of the missile you want to upgrade. You may remove that wall and use it as your missile, while replacing your old one by putting it into the rubble pile.

Crashing

If you happen to crash, then fix the damage. If you caused irreversible damage, then you forfeit your next turn.

Winning

You win once the enemy's base falls down. All three parts of the base must fall, or it doesn't count as falling. The loser owes the winner a soda (of the winner's choice).

Mini Wars

If you only have 1 stash, you can use it to play a miniature game of Balistic Wars.

Setup

Remove all but 2 large pyramids. Each player gets a large pyramid, and it is your "base".
Each player then gets 2 medium and 2 small pyramids.
Set aside the last small pyramid, as this is your missile.

Upgrading your Missile

Once a number of walls are destroyed, you may upgrade your missile into a larger one. Once you destroy 3 walls, you can upgrade your missile into a medium missile. Unlike the regular game, you do not need to remove one of your walls to create a new missile.

Crashing

If you happen to crash, then fix the damage. If you caused irreversible damage, then you forfeit your next turn.

Winning

You win once the enemy's base falls down. The loser owes the winner a soda (of the winner's choice).
