State of game... A playtest ready version is now up. There is still work to be done, as there is a lot of description in the rules (necessary because of the type of game it is) and I haven't had a chance to play it myself. That said, even as it is now, this should facilitate a fun experience for anyone it interests. I'm looking forward to reading about the results and maybe seeing a few examples of what people end up creating.

I hope this game will be fun for the literary adept and novice alike. Think of it as an advanced version of something like Apples to Apples or Nanofiction and not a game simply for professional writers, though they are welcome to play as well.

I'm looking forward to this one reaching a playable state. I just enjoyed the Becker piece on Oulipo in the recent Believer! --Carthoris 01:38, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Wait, that's not it! It's here. I'll have to read the Beha now. (N: In the Becker piece, he quotes a French literary radio program as calling Oulipo "Chess masters who have lost their boards.") --Carthoris 13:01, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Great links! I'm slowly moving the bulk of my notes into the wiki as the first draft for play. I expect that I'll have that up by the end of the week. It will still need tweaking, especially where the mechanics are concerned. I'm still working on a system of immunity that doesn't shake up play too much, and I'm considering using the numbers on Scrabble tiles in place of some of the dice mechanics. It will probably be some time before I get to play test it well, but there's no need to keep the rules to myself.--nihilvor 06:16, 10 April 2012 (UTC)
