Switch House 3+ Players

The object of the game is to fill up a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line on the board, or four corners AND the middle square. (If you want a longer game, you may choose only one of the options listed above. Example: Make the objective of the game for each participant to get all the pieces in a horizontal line.)

  • IceDice, or two special dice
    • Die #1: any size, switch, switch, small, medium, large
    • Die #2: any color, black, green, yellow, blue, and red
  • one set of ice house pieces per player

Set up

Place board in front of player with ice house pieces off to the side.

The person with the curliest hair rolls first. Roll dice, one colored and one worded and view what the dice say. If the dice says yellow and small you may take your small yellow ice house piece and place it on your board. Then the next person and so on. If you roll the die and cannot do anything the next person goes.

Notice that all boards can have small, medium, or large listed twice or more, however you only have one set of each color. This is where the switch option on the die comes in. If you are to roll the switch option on the die you may take any of the other players pieces THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN PLAYED in that specified color rolled and place it on your board without giving them anything in return. However, if you roll a switch and it cannot be played (i.e the specified piece has not been played yet) then you may switch a piece on your board for another piece of the same size that is yours and not played yet. This can only be done when the switch option listed above is not possible. An example of this is if you have a small green and want to switch for a small blue on the side of the board you may.

End of the Game

When your board has a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line filled up, or the four corners and middle square, then you are the winner.
