- Objective: To have the most small pieces at the end of the game.
a)2 Icehouse stashes of different color, 1 per player
a) Build a 4X5 grid of twenty medium and large pieces. The medium and large only make up the playing area so their configuration within the grid doesn't really matter. Place your small pieces on the 5 row nearest you.
a) Alternate turns. You capture by placing your small cap or small cap stack on another small cap stack and/or jumping over a small cap stack. You may capture your own pieces.
b) The size of the small cap stack determines its movement. Single caps move or capture one space in any direction. A double-stack of small caps can move or capture exactly two places, a triple-stack exactly three. You may move over empty spaces but must land within the playing area. Sometimes a stack will grow to a size where it cannot move but will only be valued at the end of the game.
c) The playing area will shrink with each move. Remove the base piece you jumped from and any board pieces you jumped. Claim any jumped small caps by placing them under your cap stack.
a)Play continues until no more moves are possible. If only one player has no moves, their opponent should continue until they can't play. The player with the most small pieces wins. There are 10 small caps to begin with. You own the small caps with your color on top.
