The game Candy Capture is a game in which players must capture candy pieces with Icehouse pieces of matching color. Once a candy is captured by the Icehouse piece, points are recorded based on the size of the Icehouse piece. The game ends when all the candy pieces are captured by Icehouse pieces. The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game.

==Game Components==
Materials Needed:

* One stash of Icehouse pieces
* One 7x10 block quare board
* 10 draw cards
* Fifteen candy pieces: 3 red, 3 blue, 3 yellow, 3 green, 3 brown. (M&M's work best but if not available any candy or small object such as beads work well. Whatever is used must resemble the 5 colors listed.)
* A pencil or pen can be used to record points throughout game.

Provided items include:

This is a link to what the playing board should look like and where pieces should be placed. You can print this board out and use it as your playing board, or you can draw your own without the abbreviations (Except 'X' and 'Draw').

This is a link to the 'Draw' cards used when a player lands on a draw block. It can be printed out and cut into ten squares.

==Setup==
Assemble the materials. Assembling requires:

* Place the playing board on the surface.

* Place candy pieces and Icehouse pieces according to example board.

* Place the cards to one side of the game board (make sure to shuffle cards before placing down)

==Rules==
The player to go first is the player who is the shortest. If there are more than 2 players, teams can be made. The team to go first is the team with the shortest person.

'''How to Win:'''

The object of the game is to be the player with the most points after all the candy pieces are captured.
Points are earned when an Icehouse piece captures(capture- Icehouse piece is set on top of M&M piece, thus ‘capturing’ it) a candy piece of the same color. For example, a yellow Icehouse piece can only capture a yellow M&M. The amount of pieces of points earned for a capture depends on the size of the capturing piece. The points received are as followed:
Small piece = 10 points,
Medium Piece = 15 points,
Large Piece = 30 points.
The game will end once there are no remaining M&M’s on the board.

'''How Pieces Move:'''
M&M pieces can move only one block per turn. M&M pieces can move to an adjacent block or a diagonal block, but can only move one block per turn!
Icehouse pieces can only move according to their size.
Small pieces can move a total of two blocks per turn. Small pieces are allowed to move to the block adjacent and/or the block diagonal. (You can move a small piece to the next adjacent block, then to a block diagonal, or vice versa).
Medium Pieces can only be moved 1 block per turn and can either be moved to the block adjacent or the block that lays diagonal.
Large pieces can only be moved 1 block per turn and can only be moved to a block adjacent to where it lays.

'''How to Play:'''
Each player or team must move one candy piece and one Icehouse piece per turn. Order does not matter. Note: player or team cannot skip turns or moves.
If a player lands on a block labeled ‘Draw’, the player must choose a card from the draw pile and perform the action that the draw action card provides.
A player is only allowed to move and Icehouse piece and a candy piece of different colors each turn. Two of the same colors cannot be moved during a turn. For example, a player would not be allowed to move a blue M&M and a blue piece during that turn.
When a candy piece is captured by and Icehouse piece, it is to be taken off the board and belongs to the player who captured it.
Points are to be recorded after every capture made.
A player cannot move a candy piece or an Icehouse piece to a box with and ‘X’ on it.

In order to make the game longer, players can add another Icehouse set and fifteen more candy pieces.
