Since the description below refers only to "Dash", "IDash" is considered a typo, and both it and "Icehouse Run" redirect here. The game Dash is a combination of Chutes and Ladders and Candyland, but it also incorporates "dare", which the players choose what the opponent will do.

Game Components[edit | edit source]

Materials Needed:

  • One Treehouse set. Only the small pyramids will be used.

Provided items include:

Setup[edit | edit source]

Assemble the materials. Assembling requires:

  • Place the game board on a flat surface
  • Place the cards to one side of the game board (make sure to shuffle cards before placing down)
  • Each player chooses a small pyramid as their piece, and places it on the start space

Rules[edit | edit source]

The shortest person is the person that gets to go first. Then clockwise for remaining players. In order to play a turn, the player must pick a card.

If the player picks a color card, the player must move their Ice house piece to the next square of that color. The pieces move across each row, left to right, and then up to the next row.

If the player picks a Direction Card then the player must follow what the card says.

If a player lands on a space that has a picture on it, either from a color card or a direction card, then that player must move to the space that contains the matching picture, even if it moves you backwards.

If a player lands on a space that is occupied, the pieces share the square without affecting each other.

If the player picks a Dare Card then the player must complete the dare that the opponents choose. Completing the dare allows the player to draw again, otherwise the player must lose the rest of the turn.

The cards that are picked can be placed off to the side in a discard pile. If the cards are used up, shuffle the discard pile to make the new draw pile.

The first player to get from the start block to the finish block is the winner!

In order to make the game longer, players can choose to make the winner the first person to make it from start to finish and back.
