Ice Points 5-8 Players
To win the game you have to have the most points when the deck of cards has been gone through twice.
One set of ice house pieces per person and one deck of regular cards.
Every player starts off with one set of ice house pieces. The deck of cards is shuffled and placed face down in the center of the table.
To determine who goes first everyone picks a card from the deck. The player with the highest card goes first (aces high).
Play goes clockwise around the table. Put the cards used to determine who goes first in the discard pile.
Large ice house pieces are worth 3 points
Medium ice house pieces are worth 2 points
Small ice house pieces are worth 1 point
When it is your turn you pick up a card from the face down pile of cards and do what the cards meaning is:
|Aces||Take all the pieces in the center.|
|Kings||Put 3 points worth of pieces in the center.|
|Queens||Give 3 points worth of pieces to the player on your left.|
|Jacks||Give 3 points worth of pieces to the player on your right.|
|7-10||Put 5 points worth of ice house pieces in the center.|
|6||Your turn gets skipped.|
|2-5||Take the number of points it says on the card worth of ice house pieces from the center.|
If you don’t have the exact number of points that you need to put in the middle then you can exchange with another player or the center. Ex) you draw a 7 and need to put 5 points worth of ice house pieces in the center but you only have 2 big ice house pieces. You can exchange a big ice house piece for a medium one and a small one.
When your turn is over you place the card face up in a discard pile.
Once the deck of cards are all in the discard pile, shuffle the deck and go through it again.
Once the whole deck has been used twice the game is over and the player with the most points wins.
Also you can take any combination of ice house pieces as long as they add up exactly to the amount that you are supposed to be taking.
If you run out of ice house pieces you can still play by picking a card. If you can’t do what the card says then you don’t do anything but if you can do what the card says then do it.
End of the Game
The game ends when the deck of cards has been gone through twice and the winner is the player with the most points.
