Tic Tac Loop is a public domain game that was originally played with sugar packets in restaurants, but can also be played with two nests of Icehouse pieces. The name is unknown, so Tic Tac Loop was chosen as reasonably descriptive.

Each player gets one nest of Icehouse pieces of a different color. There is no board, but all pieces must be played within an imaginary 3x3 grid, although where the grid is can change during the game. The object of the game is to get three of your own pieces in a row. Turns alternate, with each player playing a piece of their color in numerical order (first the small piece, then the medium, then the large). Each piece must be played such that a 3x3 grid could be placed over the board, but where the 3x3 grid is can move during the course of the game. Once all pieces are on the board, players start the sequence over, first moving their small piece, then their medium, then their large, until someone forms 3 pieces in a row of their own color, in which case they win.
