I'm intrigued by the notion of packing a wargame onto a Volcano board, and this looks like it has potential.

But these rules are very hard to understand and could use considerable revision. In particular, the definitions and explanations at the end of the rules are absolutely necessary for understanding the game play description offered earlier. Is a "Fate die" a commercially available item? If so, who makes it? (BTW, the singular of dice is die.)--Carthoris 14:40, 20 April 2012 (UTC)

Experience with a two-player game suggests to me that you might reconsider your end/victory conditions. I'd recommend these three possibilities as covering the outcomes:

  1. Only one player still has pieces on the board. That player wins.
  2. One player has all of his or her pieces on the board, and currently occupies 13 or more squares of terrain. That player wins.
  3. All terrain pyramids are occupied by player pyramids. The player occupying the most terrain wins.

Number 2 is not an unlikely outcome in a two-player game. --Carthoris 03:54, 9 May 2012 (UTC)
