The king’s sons have decided to play a game in their room. They have called their servitors and made them gather all the carpets of the castle. Now, they’ll jump from one servitor’s back to the next to get to their brother’s ‘base’.

Goal

Take your Prince pyramid from your base to the opponent's.

Setup

One player takes five medium and one small red pyramids. The other player takes the same in blue.

The 25 large pyramids, the carpets, are laid down in a 5 x 5 grid with the 5 large red and blue pyramids forming the edge of the grid facing the relevant player. These large red and blue pyramids are the bases of each Prince. The other large pyramids are neutral. The large pyramid in the center of the grid is removed from the grid.

Stack each medium red and blue pyramid, or servitor, on the carpets of matching color.

The small pyramid, the Prince, of each player is stacked on top of the medium pyramid in the middle of their color’s line.

Play

On their turn, each player can move any one of the pyramids of his color or of the neutral carpets.

Carpets can be moved one space orthogonally or diagonally and must remain connected to each other either by an edge or by a corner.

Servitors can move one space orthogonally or diagonally but only on carpets.

Princes can only jump from a servitor's back to another orthogonally and they can only be borne by a servitor of their color.

A carpet on which a servitor stands can’t be moved.

A servitor cannot move if he has his Prince on his back.

Game end

When a player’s Prince gets to the base of his brother, on the back of one of his servitors, he wins the game.
