Scrambled Volcano is a variant of Volcano where the nests are created in a random pattern layer by layer (pawn-drone-queen).
Setup[edit | edit source]
- Place all of the pawns into the opaque bag and shake the bag vigorously. Remove the pawns one at a time and place them on the board, starting with the upper-left corner filling each spot going left to right, then down to the next row until all of the pawns have been placed on the board.
- Place all of the drones into the opaque bag and shake the bag vigorously. Remove the drones one at a time and place them on the board, starting with the upper-left corner filling each spot going left to right, then down to the next row until all of the drones have been placed on the board.
- Place all of the queens into the opaque bag and shake the bag vigorously. Remove the queens one at a time and place them on the board, starting with the lower-left corner, filling each spot going diagonally.
- Place the Volcano caps on the red pyramids.
