Cathouse is an Icehouse "game" for cats. After you leave the pieces standing on a table overnight, your cats score according to how much of a mess they make.

Setup[edit | edit source]

Place a stash of pieces out on table with the pieces standing upright. Tell the cat “do not touch”. Leave the pieces out overnight and then score.

Scoring[edit | edit source]

  • Each small piece knocked over = 1 point
  • Each medium piece knocked over = 2 point
  • Each large piece knocked over = 3 point
  • Each small piece knocked onto the floor = 4 points
  • Each medium piece knocked onto the floor = 5 points
  • Each large piece knocked onto the floor = 6 points
  • Each piece knocked into another room = 8 points
  • Each piece shoved under something = 10 points
  • Each piece shoved under something that require two or more people to move = 15 points
  • Each piece swallowed by the cat = 20 points
  • If you have to call the vet to get it out = 30 points
  • Each piece lost = 40 points
  • Each piece that you step on while walking to the bathroom in the middle of the night = 50 points
  • If it breaks skin = 60 points
  • If you have to go to the hospital to get it removed = 75 points
  • If you can't come up with an excuse that doesn’t make you sound like a complete idiot = 100 points!

Have fun!
